Council has recently finalised a long term options report regarding the Toose Road landslip. The final report options included the community raised option at Pee Dee Creek, which has been investigated from an engineering perspective and costed appropriately. The final report is now being submitted for Independent Technical Review to receive funding under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) as an Essential Public Asset Restoration Project (EPAR) Funding will be allocated to the project that shows the greatest merit from both an engineering and cost perspective. Voting was requested by the community, however due to the nature of gaining funding for this project and the requirement to submit the final options report for the independent technical review (via Transport for NSW), the most viable project will be the funded option. A copy of the latest report can be found here - Toose Road Final Long Term Options Report. Confirmation of the independent technical review results will be received in the new year and a further update provided.
