Big Map Disaster Preparedness Session

Join us for the Big Map Event, hosted by Disaster Relief Australia, Allianz Australia, and Kempsey Shire Council, at the Slim Dusty Centre.

The Big Map Event aims to bring together local residents and disaster resilience experts to collectively assess the risks of floods and fires in our region. Using advanced mapping technology and drones, we will create a detailed floor map of our valley for everyone to explore.

This event offers a unique opportunity for our community to identify areas prone to floods or fires and, more importantly, to work together on effective strategies to enhance community resilience and minimize future disasters. By participating, you will play an active role in securing a safer future for our region.

The event is free to attend, and we will provide morning tea and lunch.
