Australia Day Citizenship and Awards Ceremony 2024

Join us at the Slim Dusty Centre for the official Australia Day Citizenship and Awards Ceremony on Friday 26 January.

There will be free breakfast from 9am with the ceremony beginning at 10am.

Hear from this year’s ambassador, Phil Lee OAM, President of the Macleay River Historical Society.

Welcome the shire’s newest citizens as they become Australians.

See your heroes rewarded for their dedication and hard work as the Citizen of the Year and Local Hero awards are presented.
