Learn how to use farm chemicals safely
Landholders work with hazardous chemicals and often do this alone so it's important they know how to safely use them.
Council has limited free spots available to the SMARTtrain Chemical Training Application course that taking place over two days in Willawarrin on 3 and 4 November. The August course filled up fast so get in quick.
This course will help local farmers have the right skills to use chemicals on their land and know how to store, transport and use hazardous chemicals.
Those completing the course will meet state government requirements for chemical and learn how to use chemicals safely.

The SMARTtrain Chemical Application course is being run by Tocal College, in partnership with Kempsey Shire Council, with grant funding from the joint federal and state government’s Bushfire Local Economic Recovery Fund.
This event is another example of Council's commitment to a community vision that "our people are given the opportunities and infrastructure to build a safe, welcoming and sustainable community."
