Work has commenced on Toorumbee Road

A team from the ADF have commenced clearing work, including the removal of trees and debris on Toorumbee Road.

Today, trees were cleared from the road allowing for 4 wheel drive access up to a large landslip along the route.

Work on the road will continue throughout the long weekend and thanks to the Council team set to commence work on the landslip from next Tuesday, further works will be able to occur along the route next week.

Council teams will progressively gain an understanding of the repairs required along the road as the team progresses.

Some repairs may take considerable time to achieve.
