Ready, set, go! Verge and Eden Street to become a racetrack for a day

The Verge and Eden Street walking track will soon be buzzing with students from the region for their annual cross country races.

There will be two events, one on Wednesday 29 March between 12.00pm and 2.30pm, and another on Wednesday 10 May between 9am and 2pm. These events will bring together hundreds of students from different schools, all eager to showcase their athletic abilities around the track.

While the races are sure to be exciting, we understand that they will impact users of the walking track, who enjoy it for their daily exercise. We kindly request that those who normally use the track on these days make alternative arrangements, either by using the track before or after the event or by taking an alternative route for the day.
