Taits Bridge on Willi Willi Road closed for urgent replacement

Kempsey Shire Council has discovered a defect on Taits Bridge, located at the very western end of Willi Willi Road and has closed the bridge due to safety concerns.
The good news is that Taits Bridge was scheduled for replacement from 3 April and this has now been brought forward to commence 27 March 2023.
Residents at the western end of Willi Will Road will be required to travel along Warbro Brook Road during the replacement, which is expected to take four weeks.
The replacement of Taits Bridge is necessary to ensure public safety and Council will work efficiently to complete the project within the estimated time frame.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
