Stuarts Point kerbside collection and skip bin services

Council, in partnership with the NSW State Government will be providing free kerbside collection and skip bin services to Stuarts Point residents to aid in the disposal of flood waste.

The service will take place this Thursday, 8 April and all Stuarts Point residents are being asked to place flood waste on the kerbside for collection.

Only flood waste should be placed in the skip bins or on the kerbside. Other waste such as construction waste, organics, perishables or hazardous materials such as gas bottles and/or chemicals will not be collected during this service.

Catch up bin services have been provided and other waste can be disposed of at Kempsey’s Waste Management Centre, off Crescent Head Road.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

Residents of flood impacted areas are being asked to:

  • Use skip bins for your flood waste where available and please do not overfill the skip bins above the rim
  • Put your remaining flood waste on the kerbside of a sealed road
  • Keep your flood waste off the road and clear of vehicles so clean up crews and trucks are able to access the flood waste
  • Remember to take photographs and detail your flood waste for insurance purposes

Thank you for your patience and please assist others where you are able.
