Schools across the shire invited to apply for sustainability grants

Kempsey Shire Council is pleased to invite applications from local schools, preschools and early learning centres to undertake environmental sustainability projects that make a difference to their local environment and community.

The Macleay Sustainable School Grants program is new, outcome focused and looking to support our local education centres with up to $1,000 to build capacity and deliver positive environmental outcomes.

This year, schools, preschools and early learning centres in the Kempsey Shire LGA are encouraged to apply for projects focusing on waste management (including food waste and marine debris).

All applications must be submitted online by 5pm Monday 24th May.
