Here's to you, bridgeworks Robinson

Kempsey Shire Council is replacing Robinsons Bridge as part of the bridge replacement program.

To carry out this work Summer Island Road will be closed at Robinsons Bridge which is 2km south of Plummers Lane.

A detour will be in place for the duration of the project. As this is a school bus route, the project has been timed to coincide with school holidays.

Replacing Robinson Bridge will help the drivers who use Summer Island Road travel safely and comfortably.

The works are scheduled to start on Monday 26 September and should be completed on Friday 7 October.

Council has secured $20.5 million in funding for the project from the NSW Government's Fixing Country Bridges program.
