Attendees at a conference

Thank you to all the wonderful people who came to the River to the Sea Conference on Thursday 28 July at the Slim Dusty Centre.

The conference focused on exploring themes around the need for agricultural sustainability at a local level. We heard from several speakers who have experienced their own setbacks and challenges in their industry, and used these lived experiences to inspire and motivate the local agricultural industry.

Speakers included Landline's Pip Courtney, cricket great Steve Waugh, local farmer Glen Clarke, Ability Agriculture's Josie Clarke and Dr. Amy Cosby.

This event was supported by the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal (FRRR) through funding from the Australia Government Future Drought Fund.
