Council assessing proposed accommodation facility at South West Rocks

On Monday 17 May 2021, the public exhibition period closed for the proposed development of a tourist accommodation facility at South West Rocks Country Club.

During the exhibition period, Council received more than 100 responses from the community.

Council has requested that the applicant submit additional supporting information. Once this is received, the application will be assessed by Council’s development team in consultation with relevant state government authorities.

Following the assessment of the application and community responses, a recommendation will be made to an ordinary meeting of Council for determination. This is expected to be considered later this year, following the local government elections.
