Nulla Nulla Creek Bridge embankment remediation coming up

The embankments at Nulla Nulla Creek Bridge are being repaired and improved to make the roadway more stable and ensure safer journeys for travellers.

Kempsey Shire Council will begin remediating the embankments on 10 July 2023, which will involve several tasks to make sure the riverbank is stable.

These include creating water flow channels, placing protective structures made of rocks and soil and using special techniques to secure the soil with the structures supporting the riverbank.

The project is aiming to finish in November 2023, weather permitting.

During this project, heavy machinery will be used and there will be traffic control in place as well as reduced speed signs.
