Expect brief delays during nightly inspections of Kempsey Bridge

Transport for NSW will conduct nightly inspections of Kempsey Traffic Bridge after finishing maintenance work.

The inspections will start on Tuesday 13 June and take place from 7 pm to 5 am on weeknights. Drivers should expect brief disruptions of approximately 2 minutes. Weather permitting, the inspections will be completed in three shifts, and traffic will be directed to alternate lanes. On-site traffic control will be present, and the speed limit will be reduced to 40 km/h.

Motorists are advised to drive to conditions and to follow the instructions provided by signs and traffic control. These inspections come after several months of maintenance, including steel and bridge deck repairs, joint replacement, and road resealing.
