Provide your feedback on plans to upgrade Crescent Head landmark
Published on 10 August 2022
The community is invited to have their say on the draft concept design plans for the much-loved Crescent Head landmark, Little Nobby.
Crescent Head residents expressed their concern about the state of the headland, with residents and Kempsey Shire Council agreeing it was important to change user behaviours as well as address the condition of the headland.
Following this, Council has worked with a team of landscape architects to create the Little Nobby and Foreshore Linear Park plans - a detailed vision to restore, regenerate and maintain Little Nobby and surrounds.
Key elements of the draft plans include:
• A new walking track following the existing trail around the perimeter of the headland
• New timber viewing platforms to be constructed at the eastern point of the headland
• Upgrading the existing footpath leading up to Little Nobby
• New and additional seating and surf viewing areas
• Management of foreshore erosion
Residents can view the draft plans and provide their feedback via a short, online survey by going to Council’s engagement website
The survey will close at 4pm Tuesday 6 September 2022.
