Kempsey Shire Council is excited to reveal that preparations are underway to celebrate International Day of People with Disability.
While the pandemic has made planning tricky, we can announce that there will be two key events in this year’s program.
Big Day Out – Friday 3 December 2021
Join us for International Day of People with Disability on Friday 3 December between 10am and 2pm at Riverside Park for the Big Day Out.
The Big Day Out is a free day of festival fun for all ages and the year’s most fun Friday. There will be exciting activities for people of all abilities and information stalls for disability service providers and other organisations in the Macleay Valley.
Please note that due to the NSW Government's Public Health Order, only people who are fully vaccinated or those with a medical exemption can attend the Big Day Out event.
Glitz and Glamour Ball – Saturday 5 March 2022
Get your Glitz and Glam on at the Glitz and Glamour Ball kicking off Saturday 5 March between 5.30-11pm at the Slim Dusty Centre
An evening full of entertainment and dancing in an accessible environment with dinner and a complimentary drink on arrival.
Tickets are on sale now and are $75 or $35 with a health care/concession card available from Kempsey Shire Council’s Customer Service Centre, Key Employment or online. This event is 18+.
