Update 1pm Friday 7 January 2022

The Macleay River is experiencing a minor rise, with levels at Georges Creek, Bellbrook and Kempsey gauges all registering as "below minor" flood level.

Temagog Bridge and the Dungay Creek Causeway are CLOSED.

What should I do?

Residents are advised to monitor the river levels via the Bureau of Meteorology website and act accordingly

Please take the appropriate steps to prepare for this river rise to progress downstream.

Council Staff will continue to monitor the situation and provide updated advice as it becomes available.
