Responsible flood donations
Published on 24 March 2021
The Kempsey Shire community is incredibly generous in times of need, with the instinct to help battling the frustration of helplessness.
If you are seeking to help through giving, please ensure you are donating responsibly.
Together with the NSW Government, Kempsey Shire Council is asking people not to donate unwanted goods to communities affected by the floods. This results in crucial volunteer hours being dedicated to sorting and storing items instead of helping people directly.
If you'd like to contribute, the official way to do so is through not-for-profit organisation GIVIT.

Why don’t you GIVIT a go today?
