Council working to repair Horseshoe Bay flying fox as soon as possible
Published on 13 April 2023
Update: Thursday 13 April 2023
The flying fox at Horseshoe Bay playground is there to deliver a whole lot of fun and we are working hard to get it up and running again for the community.
Unfortunately, repairing it has been challenging. Sourcing replacement parts to ensure its safe operation is taking longer than expected. Last week, technicians attended the site to repair the flying fox but the equipment was damaged more than anticipated.
Please know that the Council is working towards restoring the flying fox to a safe and fully functional condition as quickly as possible. We understand and appreciate the patience of the community during this process.
Thank you for your understanding, and we will continue to keep you updated on the progress of the repair.
