Upgrades to Crescent Head courts underway

Asphalting works on Crescent Head Netball and Basketball Courts are underway as part of exciting upgrades to the area.

Thanks to funding secured by Kempsey Shire Council, the courts are receiving improvements such as resurfacing, lighting upgrades, accessible amenities and new line marking and posts.

These improvements are well overdue, as the facility was built in the 1980s.

While the courts will be out of action while works are carried out, Council is working with Crescent Head Netball Club to get the courts ready for training on Friday 12 May.

To make this project possible, Council secured funding from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund.
