Changes to Council services due to Anzac Day public holiday

On Tuesday 25 April 2023 Council services will be closing for the Anzac Day public holiday.

Please note that there will be no changes to kerbside bin collection over the Anzac public holiday.

Waste Facilities

Waste Management Centre, Crescent Head Road

The Waste Management Centre will be OPEN and will operate as per usual business hours.

South West Rocks Waste Transfer Station

South West Rocks Waste Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Tuesday 25 April and will reopen on Wednesday 26 April.

Stuarts Point Waste Transfer Station

Stuarts Point Waste Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Tuesday 25 April and will reopen on Wednesday 26 April.

Bellbrook Waste Transfer Station

Bellbrook Waste Transfer Station will be CLOSED on Tuesday 25 April and will reopen on Wednesday 26 April.

Libraries

Kempsey Shire Libraries will be CLOSED on Tuesday 25 April and will reopen on Wednesday 26 April. This includes libraries in Kempsey, South West Rocks and Stuarts Point.

Customer Service

Council's Customer Service Desk will be CLOSED on Tuesday 25 April and will reopen on Wednesday 26 April.

Slim Dusty Centre

The Slim Dusty Centre will be CLOSED on Tuesday 25 April and will reopen on Wednesday 26 April.

There will be plenty of traditional dawn services and marches across the Macleay Valley to commemorate the brave men and women who served our nation during the war efforts.
