The adventures and beauty of the Macleay have been shared with Australia in an episode of Sydney Weekender.
Viewers tuning into PRIME7 on the evening of Sunday 12 June would have had the pleasure of seeing the stunning Macleay Valley featured on the popular travel show.
Working closely with Kempsey Shire Council, the Sydney Weekender crew filmed wealth of what’s on offer for visitors to the Macleay Valley Coast, from hiking and mountain bike riding to fishing and fine dining.

GROWing the skills of women in agriculture
Women working in the agriculture industry are invited to enrol in the Generating Regionally Outstanding Women (GROW) course. This course focuses on developing business leadership and management skills for women in this industry.
Offered by Tocal College with support from Kempsey Shire Council, the six-month course will be delivered using a blend of face-to-face and online training with two, one-day workshops in Kempsey as well as weekly webinars.

Don't miss Sculpture in the Gaol
The historic Trial Bay Gaol will once again be transformed into an artistic sculpture-filled site as Sculpture in the Gaol returns in July.
Running from 2-10 July, the organisers have activities for all to enjoy.
On Saturday 2 July there will be a fantastic night of talent present to open the exhibition including:
- Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamieson,
- local multi-instrumentalist sensation Minnie Marks,
- coastal indie singer-songwriter Animal Ventura and,
- circus performer Melon the Human.
Then a family day will take place on Sunday 3 July featuring live music, pop-up dance workshops, circus performances, face painting and market stalls.
