Boil Water Alert lifted

Crescent Head residents and visitors can now safely drink tap water once again.

NSW Health has authorised the lifting of the Boil Water Alert after receiving the results of water sample tests.

Kempsey Shire Council staff worked into the night on Friday to repair the infrastructure responsible for tap water. The notice itself could not be lifted until test results confirmed the water is safe.

Crescent Head's water has now been confirmed as safe to drink again.
