Slim Dusty Centre

Following extensive negotiations and due diligence, Councillors will consider a recommendation from staff that Council enter into an agreement with Slim Dusty Foundation Limited for Council to operate and manage the Slim Dusty Centre, including the Slim Dusty Museum.

Crescent Head engagement

Council staff have acted on the discussion and decisions at the July ordinary meeting and have proposed an engagement methodology for the Crescent Head foreshore project over the next 24 months.

The meeting is being asked to endorse the methodology and to note the estimated cost of up to approximately $150,000 to carry it out up to the adoption of design concepts.

Sustainability and Resilience Strategy

Council's Strategic Environment and Planning team has engaged with community to develop a Sustainability and Resilience Strategy Discussion Guide to facilitate community engagement on a plan that aims to set a clear future direction and pathway to improving local sustainability and resilience and to better prepare us for a changing climate and challenging future.

If approved at the meeting the discussion guide will go on public exhibition via Your Say Macleay
