Council Services over Easter and Anzac Day 2025

There will be some changes to Council's services including waste facilities, libraries, customer service and the Slim Dusty Centre over the Easter long weekend and Anzac Day.
Waste Facilities
Waste Management Centre, Crescent Head Road, Kempsey
There will be no changes to operating hours for the Waste Management Centre.

Waste Transfer Stations (Easter)
Bellbrook Facility will close Good Friday, 18 April 2025 and reopen 9am Wednesday 23 April 2025
South West Rocks Facility will close Good Friday, 18 April 2025 and reopen 8am Tuesday 22 April 2025
Stuarts Point Facility will close Good Friday, 18 April 2025 and reopen 8am Wednesday 23 April 2025
Waste Transfer Stations (Anzac Day)
Bellbrook Facility, South West Rocks Facility, and Stuarts Point Facility will be closed for Anzac Day Friday 25 April 2025.
Libraries
All Libraries (Easter)
Kempsey Shire Libraries will be closed Good Friday 18 April 2025 and will reopen 10am Tuesday 22 April 2025.
This includes libraries in Kempsey, South West Rocks and Stuarts Point.
Returns chute will remain open.
All Libraries (Anzac Day)
Kempsey Shire Libraries will be closed Friday 25 April 2025 and will reopen 9am Saturday 26 April 2025.
This includes libraries in Kempsey, South West Rocks and Stuarts Point.

Customer Service (Easter)
Customer Service office will be closed Good Friday 18 April 2025 and reopen 9am Tuesday 22 April 2025
Customer service (Anzac Day)
Customer Service office will be closed Friday 25 April 2025 and reopen 9am Monday 28 April 2025

Slim Dusty Centre
Slim Dusty Centre (Easter)
Slim Dusty Centre will be opened Saturday 19 April but closed on public holidays Friday 18 and Monday 21 April and the usual Sunday closure on 20 April.
Slim Dusty Centre (Anzac Day)
Slim Dusty Centre will be closed Friday 25 April for Anzac Day, reopening Saturday 26 April 2025.
