Opportunity to join Council’s Professional Services Panel
Published on 19 November 2024
Qualified professional consultants are invited to apply for Kempsey Shire Council's newly established Professional Services Panel. This panel will bring together a diverse range of expertise to support Council’s projects, with a key focus on partnering with local suppliers to benefit the Kempsey community.
The contract will run for up to five years, with an initial three-year term and two optional one-year extensions, which can be granted at Council’s discretion. Consultants can apply for multiple categories of service and, if selected, may be appointed to more than one area. The Council is seeking specialists in a wide variety of fields, including:
- Architectural & Interior Design
- Asset Management
- Building Services Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Environmental Services & Assessment
- Waste Management
- Geotechnical and Associated Environmental Testing Services
- Heritage Conservation & Planning
- Landscape Architecture & Design
- Planning, Design & Development
- Surveying
- Water and Waste Water Engineering
- Risk and Safety
- Project Management
To find out more about these categories, visit eProcure and download the tender documents.
To be eligible, applicants must fully respond to the Request for Tender (RFT), which will open on the 19 November 2024, and close Tuesday 10 December 2024. Applicants demonstrate the necessary certifications, qualifications, and experience. Accepted consultants will join the panel through a Deed of Standing Offer, pre-qualifying them to receive Requests for Quotation and Purchase Orders directly from Council as needed.
While panel registration offers significant opportunities, Council retains the right to engage service providers outside the panel as well as to adjust panel membership over time. This flexibility ensures Council can always meet the evolving needs of the community.
This initiative is an excellent chance for consultants to work with Kempsey Shire Council on meaningful projects that will shape the future of the region. Interested consultants are encouraged to review the tender details and apply for this unique opportunity.
