Get ready for a bargain hunter's dream as Garage Sale Trail, Australia's biggest secondhand treasure hunt, comes to the Kempsey Shire this month.
Mark your calendars for 9-10 and 16-17 November and check out the garage sales registered on Kempsey's Garage Sale Trail website as part of the local trail, from Aldavilla to Stuarts Point
One standout sale not to be missed is a group of 20 stall hosted by the Macleay Pensioner's League in Kempsey, selling a range of treasures. Another awesome garage sale is our very own Kempsey Library, with library staff putting away books, CDs, DVDs and more for the big day.

Garage Sale Trail is made possible thanks to the support of Kempsey Shire Council and the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA).
NSW EPA Executive Director Programs and Innovation, Alexandra Geddes said Garage Sale Trail encourages residents to reduce waste, while building connections and bagging a bargain.
“Keeping resources in use for as long as possible, rather than just ending up as waste is critical as we build a circular future.
“Initiatives like Garage Sale Trail bring communities together while making a real difference to our environment. Choosing secondhand is a step towards sustainability that every individual can take.
“Whether it’s furniture, homewares, hardware electronics, or clothing, opting for pre-loved items is a simple act that significantly reduces waste and keeps items out of landfill.
