Crescent Head, South West Rocks, and Stuarts Point became hubs of ideas and discussion as the community shared their hopes and concerns about the future of the Kempsey Shire.

Residents were eager to voice their thoughts at Kempsey Shire Councils pop-up events regarding Shaping our Future and Councils Priorities.

The community brought forth great ideas on how to improve our beautiful area while providing valuable views on maintaining heritage, along with how vital it is to foster growth and connection, and the importance of giving the future generations the same experiences and opportunities as the previous generations.

These events aim to provide context on the priorities of our community and help lead our Shire to a more inclusive and protected future.

By hearing from a range of diverse voices from our Shire we aim to gain a deeper understanding of what it means to live, work, and play, in the Macleay Valley and how Council can provide the necessary infrastructure and resources to do so.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who participated. Your insights help shape the future of the Kempsey Shire.
