The Macleay Valley is a community built on diverse voices, and now is the time for those voices to help shape the region’s future. As new priorities are set for the coming years, we’re inviting residents, visitors, and stakeholders alike to share their thoughts, ensuring that decisions made reflect the true needs and aspirations of the community.
By participating in the Shaping Our Future and Council Priorities Survey, you have the opportunity to influence the direction of important projects and services that impact everyday life in the Valley.
This is a chance for everyone—from local business owners to community groups, and families to young people—to provide feedback and help steer the future of the region.
At the heart of this initiative is the Community Strategic Plan, a guiding document that sets priorities for the next four years.
To ensure that this plan aligns with the needs of all who live and work in the Shire, community input is essential. Every opinion counts, and this is your moment to ensure your voice is heard.
A series of face-to-face sessions will be held across the Shire to make it easy for everyone to get involved. These informal meetings offer a welcoming space where you can share ideas, highlight areas for improvement, and discuss what matters most to you.
Whether it’s about services, infrastructure, or future initiatives, your feedback will shape the next chapter of the Macleay Valley.

- Stuarts Point: 24 October 2024 | Community Hall | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
In addition to these sessions, we will also engage with community leaders and representatives to delve deeper into specific issues and explore ways to collaborate in shaping a vibrant future.
