The order of Kempsey candidates on the voting ballot decided

The ballot draw to determine the order of candidates on the ballot slip for the Kempsey Shire Council Local Government elections was conducted yesterday at the Kempsey Showgrounds in the presence of Electoral Commission officials, Council staff and a selection of candidates.
The order of candidates for Mayoral Ballot is as follows:
- Arthur Bain - GREENS
- Charanjit Singh Bedi - INDEPENDENT
- Dean Saul - INDEPENDENT
- Troy Irwin - INDEPENDENT
- Simon Ferguson - INDEPENDENT
- Kinne Ring - INDEPENDENT
The order of grouped candidates for the Councillor Ballot are:
Group A - Alexandra Wyatt, Julie Coburn, June Wilson, Gail Ryan (independent)
Group B - Kinne Ring, Annette Lawrence, Adam Matchett, Tyrone Walker (independent)
Group C - Dean Saul, Scott Butterfield, Rebecca Clifford, Grant Simpson, Tina Carney (independent)
Group D - Arthur Bain Michael Jones, Vicki Taylor, Beris Derwent (The Greens)
Group E - Noel Selby, Charanjit Bedi, Richard Pearson, Lindsay Keay (independent)
The order of ungrouped candidates for the Councillor Ballot are:
- Troy Irwin
- Steven McNamara
- Trevor Martin
- Ben Paix
