Crescent Head Holiday Park has unveiled its latest accommodation offering, with the completion of five glamping-style safari tents, a first for the Kempsey Shire.

Safari tents have proven to be popular in other Holiday Parks in the region, giving visitors to the area a wider variety of accommodation choices, as well as providing a modern and comfortable glamping experience that complements the natural beauty of the area.

Work to install the tents began in late April 2024 with the final walkthrough and handover completed in July 24, 2024. The park management company, APTM, will soon open the tents for booking on their website, with availability starting in August.

Each safari tent is equipped with amenities such as a shower, toilet, kitchenette, electric BBQ, reverse cycle air conditioning, and a lockable sliding door. The tents can comfortably accommodate a family of four with a queen bed and bunk beds.

The area around the safari tents has been beautifully landscaped with palms, birds nest ferns, grevilleas, westringia hedging plants, and exposed aggregate concrete pathways.

Project Manager Neil Ussher expressed satisfaction with the outcome, noting positive feedback from passers-by and reports of bookings even before the tents are officially available online. This marks an exciting new chapter for Crescent Head Holiday Park, enhancing its appeal as a top destination in the Kempsey Shire.
