Roadworks for the Stuarts Point Holiday Park will begin in the park on Monday 19 February.

Works are expected to take around nine weeks to complete, depending on the weather, with some Saturday work a possibility depending on the progress of the project.

In March 2017, Kempsey Shire Council (Council) resolved to accept a tender from Australian Tourist Park Management Pty for the management of the coastal holiday parks at Grassy Head, Stuarts Point, Horseshoe Bay, Hat Head and Crescent Head. Subsequently, Council and Australian Tourist Park Management Pty executed the Macleay Valley Coastal Holiday Parks Management Deed in June of 2017.

In April 2021, Council adopted 10-year Master Plans for each of its Macleay Valley Coast Holiday Parks (Holiday Parks) to provide strategic direction for the Capital Works program to upgrade, replace and refurbish built assets within the Holiday Parks

Rehabilitation of the internal roads at Stuarts Point Holiday Park are part of Council's ongoing maintenance and upkeep commitments under the Macleay Valley Coastal Holiday Parks Management Deed.

Funding for this project is through Macleay Valley Coast Holiday Parks.
