Road works Hat Head

Colas will be performing minor asphalt works on Schnapper Close and Marlin Crescent Hat Head for Kempsey Shire Council.

The road works will commence on the 22 and 23 of January.

We apologise for any inconvenience that local residents may experience over the duration of the works.

Please assist us by not parking vehicles in the immediate construction area. Communications will be relayed to residents who live in the upcoming construction areas.

How will the work affect you?

When we’re working on the road in front of your property, there may be limited access to your driveway. We’ll work with you to facilitate alternative access options during this time. If possible.

The work will involve the use of machinery which generates some noise. We will make every effort to minimise noise, turning off machinery and vehicles when not in use.

Please allow for extra travel time as you may experience delays due to changed traffic conditions.

Changes to traffic

There will be some temporary traffic changes to ensure the work zone is safe.

Road Closures

The road will be partially closed with alternating traffic on one lane. A 40km/h speed limit will be in place during work hours and may affect travel times.

Traffic controllers will be used during work times to assist access to residences and the movement of vehicles through the worksite if necessary.

Please keep to speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
