The festive season is rapidly approaching and to ensure everyone gets to spend valuable time with their loved ones, Council’s operating hours will be a little different during the holiday period.
Due to a staff function, Council’s Customer Service, offices, depot, libraries, and waste services will close from 12:00pm on Thursday 14 December. Council will reopen as normal on Friday 15 December.
To enable the community to plan ahead Councils trading hours over the Christmas and New Year period are as follows:
- Customer Service, Council Offices and the Depot will be closed from the close of business on Friday 22 December and reopening on Tuesday 2 January.
- Libraries will be closed from 12pm Saturday 23 December and reopening on Tuesday 2 January 2024
- Waste services will be as normal except for an EXTRA yellow bin service between Monday 25 December 2023 and Friday 5 January 2024 on your usual bin day. Don’t forget to put your food scraps in your green bin!
- Waste transfer stations opening hours will vary across the holiday period and can be found on our website ksc.pub/christmas23
