The Crescent Holiday Park maintenance shed has been successfully moved to its new site via a carefully executed crane installation this week.

A small group of onlookers watched with interest as the workers carefully attached heavy duty chains to the roof of the shed, smoothly and efficiently placing the shed in its new home.

Preparatory works, including earthworks, a new concrete slab, and a retaining wall were constructed on a site adjacent to the shed to prepare for the move.

The shed had an internal sub-floor constructed to enable the structure to be moved in one piece, enabling the warranties and workmanship to remain valid.

The existing slab will be made safe and will become the new location for the large garbage bins that are currently onsite.

Road works providing access to the old slab and the reinstallation of the footpath require further design and investigation, which will be completed in a subsequent stage.

We are aware that this footpath is important to the community and we are focused on reopening this access as soon as possible.

We ask that residents stay well clear of the work site, and do not attempt to access the park through the unplanned dirt trails behind the shed.
