Belmore River and Kinchela Creek flood relief gates to open

As water has begun to breach levees along Kinchela Creek and Belmore River, Council will now start to open the flood relief gates to control these water levels.

When these rivers return to an appropriate level the relief gates will be closed again.

It is strongly recommended that landholders monitor the situation closely and act accordingly.
