Upcoming tree works on Lord Street East Kempsey

From the morning of Sunday 19 June, tree works will take place on both lower and upper Lord Street in East Kempsey.

Kempsey Shire Council will carry out tree works on Lord Street to provide better vision for motorists and pedestrians, and to remove some weed species. Clearing this vegetation will also mean larger vehicles such as trucks and buses will not hit low hanging trees as they travel along the roadway.

The works will begin on Sunday 19 June and are expected to finish on Tuesday 21 June. Works on upper Lord Street will happen on Sunday to limit traffic disruptions on weekdays. On Monday and Tuesday, crews will work on lower Lord Street.

Traffic control will be in place to direct motorists.
