  • Roads are opening as water levels go down but please drive with care
  • Dungay Creek Causeway is OPEN
  • Gladstone Street Underpass is OPEN
  • Euroka Road at Theresa Street is OPEN
  • Kinchela Creek Right and Left Bank Roads are OPEN
  • Wide Street below Kempsey Showground is OPEN
  • An evacuation warning is still current for Stuarts Point
  • Waste facilities are open as usual

Bridges that cross the Macleay River upstream of Kempsey are now OPEN.

  • Sherwood Bridge is OPEN
  • Turners Flat Bridge is OPEN
  • Temagog Bridge is OPEN
  • Toorooka Bridge is OPEN
  • Bellbrook Bridge is OPEN
  • Dungay Creek Causeway is OPEN
  • Dowlings Falls Causeways is CLOSED

Armidale Road at Blackbird Flat to Forest Way within the Armidale Regional Council’s LGA area is CLOSED

Maria River Road is CLOSED

Saleyards Road at both ends is CLOSED

All flood mitigation structures are closed:

  • Kinchela Creek cross over and relief gates are CLOSED
  • Belmore River cross over and relief gates are CLOSED
  • Christmas Creek Flood Gates are CLOSED
  • Euroka Creek Flood Gates are CLOSED
  • Ryan’s Cut Outlet remains open to the ocean.
  • Big Hill Outlet remains open to the ocean.
