Chipping + Registration - it's a must

Chipping + Rego - it's a must

Your animal is required by law to wear a collar with a name tag and owner contact details, microchipped by 12 weeks old and registered with NSW Companion Animals within 12 weeks!

Please ensure that this is done as not only will you avoid a fine, but this will also help our Rangers and veterinarian clinics to identify the animal and return them to you as soon as possible.

Before you can register your pet, it must first be microchipped by a vet or authorised identifier. Microchips are the size of a gain of rice and are implanted underneath your pets skin,

Also, making sure that your information is up to date on the NSW Pet Registry means you'll have them back in your arms sooner.

In the unfortunate event that your pet passes away, you must notify Council within 28 days - or 24 hours for restricted, dangerous or menacing dogs.

You can register or update your existing details of your animal over the counter at Council or at NSW Pet Registry - Home
