Our water team is flushing our bores at Kinchela – water will be discharged along Hat Head Road until early next week.
Steuart McIntyre Dam is approaching 100% capacity. A controlled discharge from the dam has been activated, which will result in higher flows in Fattorini creek.
The Kempsey Development Control Plan (DCP) 2013 supports and expands on the aims, objectives and other provisions of the Kempsey Local Environmental Plan 2013.
It sets out development objectives and contains detailed provisions for development in the Kempsey local government area.

Employment zones commence within Kempsey Local Environmental Plan on 26 April 2023.
From 26 April 2023, in a document (other than a state environmental planning policy) a reference to a former zone under an environmental planning instrument is taken to include a reference to a new zone under the environmental planning instrument.
