Find yourself in your local library

Community life - 15 May 2018

During 21-27 May the community is encouraged to discover the many services and resources available at Kempsey Shire Library as part of Library and Information Week.

The week aims to raise the profile of libraries and information service professionals in Australia and showcase what libraries provide to their communities.

Team Leader of Library Services, Angie Meers, said the theme for Library and Information Week is ‘Find yourself in a library’.

“Our Library plays an important role in our community by providing a hub where people from all walks of life can connect and learn either by interacting with other people or with the huge range of free programs and services the library offers daily,” she said.

“During the week, we encourage residents to come into Kempsey Library to discover something new.”
