Business Connect Bus to visit Kempsey

Media release - 9 May 2018

Businesses in the Macleay Valley will have access to free expert advice and support when the NSW Department of Industry’s Business Connect Bus arrives in Kempsey on Thursday 17 May.

The bus is travelling across NSW to share advice on business strategies including marketing, financial planning and legal advice.

Kempsey Shire Council proudly supports the Business Connect Bus visit again this year and encourages business owners to take advantage of the opportunity.

Council’s Economic Sustainability Officer, Kristy Forche-Baird, said the advisors will be on hand to give personalised advice on how to start, grow or innovate businesses.

“The Business Connect Bus gives an opportunity for small businesses to bring an expert onto their team without bearing the costs of a consultant, thanks to the NSW Government funded Business Connect program,” she said.

“All of the advisors on the bus have owned and operated their own business and are experts in their respective fields.”

The bus will be at Percival House at 130 Macleay Valley Way, Kempsey on Thursday 17 May from 9am to 3pm. This is the location for Kempsey’s co-working space where small business operators can meet and work in a professional environment.

Percival House is operated by Macleay Valley Business Chamber president, Gary Scott.
