MCCO ServicesThe aim of the MCCO is to support people who are frail aged, disabled or carers in their own home. The project Administrator carries out a thorough client eligibility assessment before service is provided. An individual's eligibility may not always be obvious but, we do ask you trust our assessment, as it has been made carefully. If you are in any doubt about service requirements please discuss your concerns with the project Administrator. Challenges of the frail aged include loneliness and isolation. Having companionship and assistance with common manual tasks can make a huge difference in quality of life and gives choice of care. MCCO support services aim to assist in the clients/carers quality of life both inside and outside the home. The disabled face very similar barriers in achieving quality of life as the frail aged. Our services help connect the disabled with their community and lower some of the obstacles of living inside their residence. Carers of either of the above mentioned groups are also supported through respite and social interaction. MCCO aim to help relieve the issues such as the time pressure, social isolation and guilt associated with caring for another.
