A call for groups, clubs and organisations to register for our database. Kempsey Shire Council’s Healthy Communities program is working to support the development and increased recognition of local leadership. Much of this leadership occurs within the voluntary sector through service clubs, groups and organisations throughout the Shire.

To ensure that voluntary groups and organisations benefit from the support and opportunities that will become available through Healthy Communities, Council is seeking your assistance in establishing a comprehensive database of clubs, groups and organisations which are driven by the dedication and hard work of volunteers.

By early 2015 it is intended that the database will appear as an on-line listing within Kempsey Shire Council's website. This on-line listing will ensure that residents interested in volunteering have an easy point of access to information about the groups, clubs and organisations where volunteering opportunities exist.

To ensure that your group, club or organisation is included, we are asking that a representative from each club, group or organisation completes a Voluntary Group or Organisation Registration Form and returns it to Kempsey Shire Council, PO Box 3078 West Kempsey NSW 2440 no later than 6 December 2014. Registration forms can be downloaded this page or a hard copy can be mailed out by contacting Customer Services on 6566 3200.
