Notice of proposed road name(s)

Kempsey Shire Council announces that the following names are proposed for Crown roads and Right of Ways within the council boundaries:
1. Burrayi Glade
- Locality: Bellbrook
- Background: This name was proposed by the Macleay River Historical Society, referencing the Aboriginal history of the area.
- Reason for Proposal: This Crown road has been unnamed for many years and a name is required to rectify property addressing issues and for the property(s) to be clearly identifiable by emergency services.

2. Friarbird Place
- Locality: Yarravel
- Background: This name was proposed by the Macleay River Historical Society, referencing a species of bird known in the area.
- Reason for Proposal: This Crown road has been unnamed for many years and a name is required to rectify property addressing issues and for the property(s) to be clearly identifiable by emergency services.

3. Dhalayi Glade
- Locality: Bellbrook
- Background: This name was proposed by the Macleay River Historical Society, referencing the Aboriginal history of the area.
- Reason for Proposal: This Right of Way (ROW) has been unnamed for many years and a name is required to rectify property addressing issues and for the property(s) to be clearly identifiable by emergency services.
