	Kempsey Airport is a registered airport and Kempsey Shire Council regularly carries out inspections of the airport facilities and arranges an annual independent inspection to ensure it is maintained to a standard required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. On site we have the services of the highly respected Macleay Aircraft Maintenance who undertake maintenance on craft from around the world. The airstrip is capable of handling commercial passenger services. Council has plenty of land available for lease to pilots wishing to construct a hangar to make use of the airport. 	Flight Information Qantas has daily flights from Port Macquarie to Sydney and other destinations. Brindabella Airlines has daily flights between Coffs Harbour and Brisbane.
