Clyde Street car park and amenities upgrade works

Artist impression of Clyde Street carpark and amenities upgrade

Works to replace the amenities block in the Clyde Street car park will move into a new phase from Monday 3 August.

Additional car spaces will be closed off during the day in the area immediately surrounding the amenities block to allow works to take place as well as for geotechnical investigations of the car park. Alternative parking signage will be in place.

Council thanks the community for your patience while we carry out this important work to deliver a vastly improved Clyde Street experience.

Macleay Valley Recovery Hub is open

Council’s Recovery Hub is now open at 57 Elbow Street, West Kempsey. The community is invited to drop in and find out what services and support are available.

Created with financial support from the State Government, the Hub is a ‘one stop shop’ that provides residents with face-to-face support from Council as well as representatives from NSW Health, the Department of Primary Services and St Vincent de Paul.

It has been established as a single location centre for disaster assistance in the Macleay and is designed to prevent confusion or lost opportunity arising from the multiple agencies that are involved in the recovery process by bringing key support services together under one roof.
